Chick-fil-A Rewards 2026: Tiers, Points Per $1 & Real Value
Chick-fil-A One is Chick-fil-A’s free rewards program. You earn 10 to 13 points per $1 depending on your tier, and you trade those points for free food in the Chick-fil-A App. There are four tiers: Member, Silver (1,000 points), Red (4,000 points) and Signature (10,000 points). Points never expire. Rewards do. Tier status resets to zero every January 1.
Below: the real spend behind each tier, what a point is worth, and the purchases that quietly earn nothing.
Chick-fil-A One Tiers at a Glance

| Tier | Points needed (per calendar year) | Points per $1 | Approx. spend to reach it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chick-fil-A One Member | 0 | 10 | $0 |
| Silver Member | 1,000 | 11 | About $100 |
| Red Member | 4,000 | 12 | About $373 |
| Signature Member | 10,000 | 13 | About $873 |
The spend column is our own math, and it isn’t printed anywhere by Chick-fil-A. It assumes you earn at the higher rate as soon as you move up (the first $100 at 10 points, the next ~$273 at 11, the next $500 at 12). Signature works out to roughly $17 a week across one year.
The clock matters. Chick-fil-A gives you until December 31 to reach a tier. On January 1, points toward status reset to zero and don’t roll over, so you have to requalify every year.
What Your Points Actually Buy
Chick-fil-A’s own program page shows these sample rewards:

Higher tiers see extra items in the rewards list. When the program last changed point values (April 4, 2023), a Kid’s Meal was added for Red members at 1,200 points and a gallon of Sunjoy® for Signature members at 3,000 points. Your app shows the live list for your tier.
So what is one point worth?
Divide the menu price of a reward by its point cost. Across the four sample rewards at typical US prices, one point is worth roughly 0.6 to 1 cent. The cheap Icedream® Cone sits at the top of that range.
About 6–10% back on every dollar.
The 13-point rate pushes it to roughly 8–13% back.
Prices vary by restaurant, so check the current Chick-fil-A menu prices before you decide where to spend your points.
How to Earn Points (and Where You Can’t)
Points come from three places:
- Ordering in the Chick-fil-A App
- Ordering online at chick-fil-a.com while signed in
- Scanning your app QR code at the front counter or in the drive-thru

These situations earn nothing, and most guides skip them:
- Buying a gift card. Paying with a gift card earns points; buying one doesn’t.
- Third-party delivery apps. Orders placed in the DoorDash, Uber Eats or Grubhub apps are not eligible. Only “delivery powered by DoorDash” ordered inside the Chick-fil-A App earns points.
- Licensed locations. Chick-fil-A Express and licensed restaurants in airports, office complexes and hospitals don’t accept the app. In 2026, some non-airport licensed spots, such as college campuses, are switching to the owner-operator model and adding app support, so check your location in the app.
- Two phones, one order. If friends scan more than one account, only the last account scanned gets the points.
Catering is a split case. Catering ordered online with your account earns points, which makes it the quickest way to climb tiers. But rewards can’t be used to pay for catering.
Forgot to Scan? You Have 30 Days
Submit a missed transaction request in the app or on the website within 30 days of your visit. You’ll need four things from the receipt:
- Restaurant number
- Transaction date
- Order number
- Order total
Points are calculated on the pre-tax total at your current tier rate. If the receipt is lost or unreadable, the request can’t be processed. Each account also gets only a limited number of these requests over its lifetime, so don’t make forgetting a habit.
Points vs. Rewards: What Expires
This is the most misreported part of the program. Some sites claim points expire after a period of inactivity. Chick-fil-A’s support page says plainly: “points do not expire, but rewards do.”
Stay in your account until you use them.
Once you trade points for an item, that reward gets its own expiration date, shown under Rewards → My Rewards.
Chick-fil-A can’t reload them, and the points are gone.
Tip: keep your balance as points and redeem only when you’re ordering.
Perks Beyond Free Food
Gifting rewards (Silver and up)
Silver, Red and Signature members can send a reward to a friend.
- Choose a reward, tap “Gift to a friend,” and share the link.
- Your points are deducted right away. The link works once.
- Only rewards bought with points can be gifted.
Birthday reward by tier
Add your birthday to your profile to receive it. Rewards can’t be substituted.
Chocolate Chunk Cookie or Chocolate Fudge Brownie
A dessert pick, including a small milkshake, Frosted Lemonade or Frosted Coffee
A regular or grilled chicken sandwich, or 8 or 12 ct nuggets
Any entrée
Signature Surprises and the Backstage Tour
Signature members get Signature Surprises: curated gifts from apparel to experiences, sent in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis.
Top tiers also get free entry to the 60-minute Backstage Tour at Chick-fil-A’s Atlanta Support Center, which runs Thursdays and Fridays.
Chick-fil-A’s own pages disagree on who qualifies. The Chick-fil-A One page says Silver and above, with up to 5 guests. The tour page names Red and Signature members. Check the benefits shown in your app before you book.
What Changed in 2026
- You must be 18 to join. Since March 23, 2026, Chick-fil-A One’s terms require members to be at least 18 (it was 13). Chick-fil-A says this follows new state laws. Under-18 users may lose app access but can still sign in on the website.
- More locations joining. The licensed-location shift described above means more campus restaurants will accept points and rewards.
Is Chick-fil-A One Worth It?
Yes, if you already eat there. Joining is free, and the 200-point Icedream® Cone takes just $20 of spending at the base rate. Points never expiring takes away the usual loyalty-program pressure.
Signature only makes sense for very regular guests or the person who handles office catering. Spending about $873 a year just to get one more point per dollar isn’t a smart chase on its own.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many points do you get per dollar at Chick-fil-A?
Members get 10 points per $1, Silver 11, Red 12, and Signature 13.
When does Chick-fil-A tier status reset?
Every January 1. Points toward status go back to zero and don’t roll over, but the points you’ve saved for rewards stay in your account.
Can I use rewards on delivery?
Yes, on Chick-fil-A Delivery and DoorDash-powered orders placed inside the Chick-fil-A App. The $0 delivery fee reward works only on Chick-fil-A Delivery orders.
Can I combine two Chick-fil-A One accounts?
Not during an order. Only the last account scanned earns points. If you have duplicate accounts of your own, Chick-fil-A support can merge them.
